Careful Conservation
The conservation of paintings requires a sensitive and highly considered approach. Our specialists undertake careful surface cleaning, stabilisation of paint layers and restoration of damaged areas, always with the aim of preserving the original character of the artwork.
Each painting is assessed individually to determine the most appropriate conservation treatment. Where necessary, we also carry out structural repairs to canvas or panel supports and undertake the conservation of decorative and gilded frames.
